Another Spate of Mini Baskets

A friend asked if I would make several of these to be given as a little extra gift to winners of "Best In Class" (textiles) at the County Fair this year. I enjoy making them - and, of course, said I would be happy to donate a few. This little one is the first of the bunch. It's 1.5" (3.81 cm) across the base, 2.25" (5.71 cm) high & the opening at the top is 1.75" (4.44 cm). I believe there are several folks who will be making similar items. These mini baskets are like cany for me - you can't make just one!

I have not been posting as regularly as usual because I have been a bit under the weather a bit - some virus or another is making me feel somnambulant, a bit dizzy and just plain uninspired. I even came home early from work today which is something I am generally loathe to do. Asthma is worse than usual too - but it IS haying season now - and the grasses are in full bloom around here too. This too will pass - I just want it over NOW !!

Very cute little baskets! I'm sorry to hear you are under the weather too. I hope you recover quickly.

I have missed you and do hope that you feel better soon. Hopefully it is just the season that is the cause. Those baskets are so cute, however do you get them so small?

Be kind to yourself and take care, Marie!

This is awesome! I love the black and white and red/orange! I bought one of the books you recommended for these last year, but never even tried to make one. This may be the inspiration I need.
