Soaring

Yesterday was, at last, a beautiful day. Although it was brisk temperature wise, I just wanted to soak up sun! DH & I went on our route and were greeted by SO many birds. Watching Bald Eagles in flight makes me understand why we chose them, rather than a turkey, as our national bird! They are, truly, majestic to watch. I am partial to to hawks though - and the red-tails were there to greet us too. What I find is an unexpected pleasure with eagles are their sweet melodies;more of a true song than a sound.
