This is the cell phone case I made over the weekend using my new Pfaff Smart 350P. Works like a dream. The colors are actually quite a bit richer than what shows here. Has anyone else noticed that photos look more faded when they are uploaded to Blogger?I had fun with this ... I love making these little bags - and I used something different for the blanket stitch this time - Rainbow Gallery's Very Velvet which I now want in many more colors - it is much easier to work with than yarns and, I think, gives the edges a crisper look. It's very strong stuff too - which is, obviously, a good thing for these bags. Below is a close of some of the quilting - the center of the circle is angelina fiber and the bead is one of the first few lamp worked beads I ever did . I have to use these sparingly - since I don't know when I will get to make more of them !
