For the last 13 years I have eagerly awaited the beginning of the blooms on this gorgeous tree outside the doors at work. It's always a hopeful sure sign of Spring. This winter has seemed particularly long - or maybe it's just that I feel like every winter seems longer ! Yesterday was the first really Spring like day we have had. Warm enough to have the windows all open to allow all that glorious clean, fread air in ! I escaped to take some photos twice during the day. Rain is forecast for tomorrow (Friday - but I will have these photos to look at now. I put my first hummingbird feeder of the year up this week too. I expect the males to begin arriving soon - generally they are here at least by Saint Patrick's Day. I wanted to be ready to welcome them 'home' Happy Friday to all !
