I don't really mean to be political here but I was captivated by this quilt in Houston. It was done by Diane Bracy. She also did one of John McCain - but unfortunately my camera battery had passed out by the time I found it. Her work is excellent! We were able to "vote" in Houston too! Karey Bresenhan (I expect that it was her at least) found some old time voting machines....the kind that you slide a piece of paer into a slot and then punch a hole by the name of your choice .... I have not found out what those results were yet - but am looking forward to reading about it .
Whatever your choice is - please go out today and exercise your most precious right to vote. We are blessed in this country to have the ability to voice our choices through the voting system Don't abdicate your rights. Vote!

Marie, thank you so much for showcasing my President Elect Barack Obama's Fabric Mosaic image on your blog! I was so surprised to see it here. Again, I so pleased that you like my Obama quilt. Sincerely, Diana Bracy
