Yesterday's mail brought me an envelope that contained Bernina's magazine "Through The Needle", Issue 25. The best thing, for me, is that my article "Fun Felted Bags" is in this issue!! Bernina did a really fabulous job with the layout - colorful & beautifully designed. I was thrilled with the way they presented the article! What good company I was in too ! Artgirlz has the cover bag called, simply, "The Art Girlz Bag" & Indygo Junction has an article called "City Girl's Bag". There are some fabulous embroidery ideas in this issue too - one that really caught my eye is the "Go Green" Bag. If I had the funds, I might even consider a new machine that could do some of these things ! It appears that it's not your grandma's embroidery designs anymore!
I was so excited to see the article that I took the photos rather hastily - so some glare happened and dampened some of the colors. The photo below is actually wonderful and totally vibrant. Thanks to Susan Beck & Jo Leichte at Bernina USA for making this such a good experience! Working with Bernina was wonderful & I am hoping that I'll be able to come up with another idea to interest them - especially since I have discovered that I enjoy writing - who knew?!

Congratulations, Marie! What a thrill to open the magazine and peruse your own article. It does look like it is well done - the photographs look great! Can you get copies at Bernina stores?
Congrats, Marie! Bravo! (((Clapping))) I've got to pick up a copy at my local Bernina store. Write more . . .
It seems that we're on similar paths--combining mixed media with fiber, etc. That's great. Nice work. Keep going with the wonderful experiments. Thanks for sharing.
