Impromptu Bouquet

As I was lounging on the deck drinking in the sunshine and working on my Einstein Coat, I noticed that one of my favorite flowers, Lily Of The Valley, were in bloom. I have to have a small patch of them since they are the flower of my birth month! Their scent reminds me of a little bit of heaven. As I picked them I noticed that they looked lovely sitting on top of my Moss green wool. A beautiful, impromptu bouquet!

I love how Lily of the Valley smells so clean and fresh and scents a whole room.

So sweet! Once I tried to carve a set of rubber stamps for Lily of the Valley (one for the stem, and five flowers of different sizes). Looking at your photo, I see what was wrong... I missed the delicacy of both stem and flowers. I'll have to give it another try. Thanks for the "lesson!"

Happy May birthday! Lily of the Valley is my birth flower too and just last week my neighbor told me to dig up a patch of hers, yeah! I also have an all-green Ocean Waves quilt that I made last May.

Cheers!
