Radiant Heat: The Search For Equilibrium In The Season Of Gray

I have to admit that I have been feeling a bit "off" this week. I had to admit to anything but full speed, but there you have it. There was no specific reason. Life is good. I am blessed, my bronchitis is much better and work is fine. I am a bit behind on some projects - but I can catch up and still make the dates I need to make. What then made me feel off center and out of sorts? Partially, it was a bear of week for these arthritic bones. I was bemoaning my pain to my friend Lauren (well, she DID ask!) and she told me about a neat little arthritis "predictor" that is sponsored by the arthritis foundation and appears on AccuWeather. I had never heard of it before. When you get to the AccuWeather website enter your zip code or city name in the box on the upper left. When you are shown your local forecast, tab down and there, in all of it's graphic beauty, is the little colored "arthritis" graph. Not that seeing the predictor up in the "very high" or "extreme" area makes you feel any better - but it did at least validate what I was already feeling and helped me realize that I was not just fabricating this crunching, throbbing pain level in my head! I also think that the gray of the season is finally getting to me - and I could have gone over the lacrimal edge easily this week. Happy lights came to the rescue of my rods and cones though and keep Kleenex from experiencing a rise in their stock prices - at least this week !

Your photographs are amazing! I'll ahve to tell Chris about the arthritis predictor. He subscribes to the Accu-weather professional edition already - he's a big weather geek. I hope you feel better soon!
