The Cat Who Took My Heart

This is Chellie, aka The Bee. She was a light in my life. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her at the shelter - though I really didn't need or want another feline friend at the time. Bee brought me happiness every day of her life and today, 4 years since her death, I still mourn the loss. I think white (or almost white!) creatures are angels - I have a thing for white animals. The photo below shows Bee as a youngster - reveling on the catnip boards. She lived for 12 wonderful years - and her pictures still make me smile !

She is beautiful - I can see why you love her so much. She reminds me of Charley, a blond fluffy cat I had some years ago, who died of feline leukemia (at that time the vaccine wasn't licensed in this country) - a very beautiful, special cat who will always have a place in my heart.

She was beautiful, with such intense eyes. You must be glad she has been part of your life.

I agree with Sandra, she's a beauty. I too have cats, some that have really touched me Some are still with me and some aren't. I try to remember that the small amount of time they were with me was a gift and I cherish the memories.

I see a sweet and loving temperament too in that face. Your post made me turn and look for Lady Karma, now 12, sleeping on the back of the couch. She spends most of her life dreaming these days. I know they are good dreams.

She is beautiful. Cats are real friends and it apply to animals from a shelter second times. I have a finded cat and a dog from a shelter and they are both my little suns. You can see both at my http://www.photoblog.com/zdenula.
