This is one of three pieces of felted wool I made yesterday. It's destines to be a large knitting bag or purse. I am on a roll and will be making some more, lager, pieces today. Generally I full the needle felted fabrics by hand but yesterday, throwing caution to the wind, I tried them in the washing machine. Phew ! Thankfully, it work out fine - although I checked on them very frequently to guard against creases and over fulling. For some things this is a great time saver, but you do need to be cautious! Once again, I'm ready for my favorite part - the free motion quilting!Monday, November 5, 2007
