Cat Back Tale

I enjoy doing thread painting and FME. I think at times At times, I like the backs of the piece almost as much as the front - so I thought I would show you a couple of my "cat backs". These first two pieces are included in the special exhibit from the 'Creative Quilting" book - although I did not submitted them for inclusion in the book itself. Only Odie and Chellie were given that special honor! The last photos are of a 'rejected' piece that I did not use. Odie, my almost 19 year old kitten, likes to do whirlwinds in the house sometimes (to think he still has that kind of energy!) and this piece was trying to capture that frenzy of kitty activity. I thought it was okay - but not really fit to show.

Odie's a great example to all of us in being determined never to grow up. Yay, Odie!

Like you, I often enjoy the backs as much as the fronts and these are all wonderful! And funny! Front AND back.
